I am a graduate
student at Stony Brook University working on my PhD in Physics/Astronomy.
I currently reside at the American
Museum of Natural History (AMNH) where I am working
on my dissertation
research in the department of Astrophysics. I consider myself one of the very
few infrared
astrometrists as my thesis work is a proper motion and parallax survey for
and of
brown dwarfs using near-infrared data. Prior to entering graduate school in 2004 I worked in
the
education department at AMNH coordinating Astrophysics outreach endeavors in
the NYC area.
